Study opportunities in Croatia

The Euro-Croatian Educational Information Centre (ECEIC) is a part of IDE which provides information and advising on higher education opportunities in Croatia and other European countries.

IDE provides information and advising on education opportunities in Croatia by referring visitors to relevant institutions in higher education through which they can learn more about the Croatian educational system, available study options, as well as potential financial aid sources for their studies.

Resources and services

The Euro-Croatian Education-Information Centre provides the following resources and services:

• Group advising;
• A library containing publications on study options in Croatia and other European countries;
• A study room with Internet access and multimedia features.
• ECEIC resources and services are available during office hours.

• Overview of Institutions (in Croatian only)
  As an online information resource to help you in your search, IDE has collected web links of the most important institutions in higher education in Croatia, including universities and other institutions of higher education, as well as ministries and other relevant institutions that might be of help in achieving your educational goals and finding financial aid for your studies.
• Academic Info-Service
  The Academic Info-Service provides news, information and resources in the field of higher education. Its subsections, such as Events in Croatia, Employment and Internship, and Calls for Papers, contain up-to-date information and competitions related to higher education in Croatia.
• Handbook “Right to Education: Higher Education in Croatia and Europe”
  The handbook “Right to Education: Higher Education in Croatia and Europe” was published in 2005 as part of the project “Strengthening Democratic Principles in Croatian Higher Education to Lead Croatia into a Europe of Knowledge.” It provides basic information on the human rights to/in education, as well as an overview of the mechanisms that enable their realisation. It also contains a detailed overview of institutions in higher education in Croatia and in other European countries, as well as a list of Internet resources with relevant information on higher education in Croatia and Europe.
