Qualification frameworks

IDE is working on the development of CQF in partnership with higher education institutions.

Croatian Qualifications Framework (CQF) is a tool for reforming overall qualifications system for every education level in Croatia through qualification standards based on outcome of learning and harmonised with needs of labour market, individuals and society as a whole. Since outcomes of education are in focus of CQF, CQF gives foundation for the development of evaluation of previous education. In other words it provides foundation for approving and evaluating outcomes of informal and formal learning, with compulsory implementation of qualification system assurance and transparent procedures of quality check. IDE emphasises public responsibility of higher education institutions in providing a lifelong learning as well as creating flexible ways of learning which can ensure employability and greater social inclusion of citizens. IDE was actively involved in passing a law on CQF and is still working on the development of CQF in partnership with higher education institutions with specific accent on Quality Standards and recognising and evaluating formal and informal knowledge.
