Since its founding in 1999, IDE has been involved in promoting international mobility of students and teachers in higher education and enhancing the internationalization of higher education. IDE has become the leading place in Croatia for information on mobility in higher education and the resources developed by the IDE (internet portals, individual and group counseling, courses, tests, etc.) are used by tens of thousands of students and pupils,  serving as support to all higher education institutions and relevant state institutions for increasing mobility and internationalization of higher education.
