SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:
The purpose of the IURISPRUDENTIA project was to obtain valuable information which will increase the involvement and mutual cooperation of all target groups and stakeholders, to contribute to the uniformity of the quality levels of different study programs and their acceptance by the labor market, to improve the quality of higher education by revising study programmes and learning outcomes, improving existing curricula and teaching competencies, and developing occupation and qualification standards. The teaching staff will improve their competences and skills required for the application of the Croatian qualification
Frameworks. Analytical background for all the activities was provided by the partners by implementing activities involving target groups – teaching staff, former and current students and employers. Bearing in mind these goals, research on a sample of present and past students has been carried out, as well as on employers.
MAIN OBJECTIVE:
Faculty of Law Osijek will together with its partners Faculties of Law in Split and Rijeka and the Institute for the Development of Education in Zagreb, harmonize and modernize the existing study programs, develop standards of qualifications and partial occupational standards.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
- Development of Qualification Standards for Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Study Programme and Professional Study Programme
- Development of Occupational Standards
- Development of Study Programmes at partner faculties
- Skill improvement of the teaching staff in the implementation of the Croatian Qualifications Framework
MAIN RESULTS OF THE PROJECT:
- Two qualification standards have been developed (one for integrated undergraduate and graduate university law programme, another for professional administrative study programme)
- 6 occupational standards have been developed
- Two study programs (integrated and expert) in the area of general program structure at three partner faculties were upgraded;
- Improved teacher competencies at partner higher education institutions
