SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:
EUROSTUDENT is an international research on the quality of student life, whose aim was to collect data on the social dimension of higher education in the Bologna process countries. The EUROSTUDENT international research is implemented in a total of 30 of the 47 countries of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), and it was initiated to develop policies to improve the social dimension of higher education based on real and objective data. The national researcher EUROSTUDENT V for Croatia is the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, and the national report was produced by the Institute for the Development of Education.
MAIN OBJECTIVE:
The aim of the research is to collect data on the demographic profile of the student body, the socio-economic status of the students, the costs that students have during the studies, sources of funding, students’ satisfaction with different aspects of study, work during studies and their experiences and plans for international mobility. Data is collected at national level and national reports are produced but are analyzed at the level of all participating countries and published in an international report after each cycle of research.
