SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT :

Based on the analysis carried out within the Target (2015-2017) project, the RGNF has identified two issues that would significantly improve the international visibility and recognition of RGNF and the program offered to future students by: 1. the inability to attend English language programs, which directly influences students’ incoming mobility; 2. insufficient international recognition of the RGNF and the programs it offers, but also the teachers themselves, resulting in too low / short-term and long-term mobility of students and teachers.

At the RGNF, the implementation of the internationalization project is planned through three types of activities:

  • the development of a new graduate study in petroleum mining in English;
  • translation and performing 27 courses in English at the graduate studies level;
  • participation in 5 European higher education fairs with a view to promoting a new English language study program and course.

MAIN OBJECTIVE:

The overall goal of the project is to increase the level of internationalization of the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

The project has three goals:

  • contribute to the internationalization of RGNF study programs;
  • strengthen the competences of RGNF graduate students and teachers;
  • increase the percentage of incoming student mobility and contribute to international recognition of RGNF by participating in relevant fairs of higher education.

MAIN RESULTS OF THE PROJECT:

Expected project results:

1) Accreditation and implementation of a new study program for petroleum mining.

2) Perform 27 courses in English.

3) Participation in five higher education fairs.

4) Funding the necessary equipment for the study programs.

5) Continuing cooperation between RGNF and IDE.
